OPENING PRAYER:
LORD GOD, our heavenly Father and Creator, we come before Your throne this morning with humble and grateful hearts, thanking You and praising You for Your love, mercy, and your undeserved grace toward us and for the many blessings You have given us this day and every day.
Lord, I pray for this good congregation of people gathered together today in Your house. I pray that You will lead them to be a witnesses for You and Your Kingdom, immersed in Scripture, constant in prayer, joyful in worship, and generous in serving and giving. Please guide them, Lord, to be a loving, supporting, and unified community of believers, reaching out both to the lost outside these doors and to those around them in need.
Lord, as I bring this message, I ask for myself, as Paul asked You in Eph. 6:19, "and for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel."
I ask for all of these things in the powerful name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, AMEN
CLOSING PRAYER:
Father, in closing, we thank you for this great nation you've given us to live in. We, pray, God, that you will bring revival to this nation, a Great Awakening that will sweep across this land from shore to shore and add millions of people to Your kingdom, so that we may once again call ourselves "one nation Under God."
If there is anyone here today who doesn't know Jesus Christ as his or her personal Lord and Savior, God is offering you an invitation right now. It's His invitation to you personally, as the Creator and sustainer of the universe. God wants you to accept this invitation fully without compromise so you can know the love of Jesus Christ and not only be saved but be reborn spiritually as a new person, with a new life. Today is the Day of Salvation, so I ask you to come, right now, and give your life to Jesus, and I pray and ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, AMEN.
